We’re committed to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. We prioritize choices that positively impact our community and future generations.
At Amarok, we follow the practice of Indigenous reciprocity, which means giving back not only to people and organizations but also to the land and environment that sustain us all.
In an industry that often relies on extractive practices, we recognize our responsibility to contribute to creating a healthier and more sustainable future. So we’ve partnered with veritree Canada in tree planting and kelp planting in BC.
We’re committed to restoring and protecting the land and waters, ensuring future generations can enjoy and thrive in the environment we all rely on.
We’ve wrapped one of our trucks to promote breast cancer awareness and research. Proceeds generated through this truck (after paying for fuel) go to Breast Cancer Canada.
We’re working on wrapping another truck to support Stollery Children’s Hospital. Again, proceeds after fuel costs will go to this very important cause. In the meantime, we’re supporting the Stollery Children’s Hospital financially each quarter.
In partnership with the Business Development of Canada (BDC), we are designating a portion of our loan repayment to Indspire, a national charity that supports Indigenous scholarship. We strongly believe in education as one of the key supports for Indigenous Peoples, who continue to face multiple systemic barriers.
Amarok Scaffolding and our team are proud to support PowWows, Indigenous sports teams, and worthy organizations:
By using scaffolding instead of diesel manlifts, we reduce carbon emissions and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 13: Climate Action. Scaffolding minimizes the need for heavy machinery, leading to fewer emissions and a more sustainable construction process.
